Join a cozy End of Summer Tarot & Journaling Retreat this August
Like summer camp before school starts, but there’s Tarot, journaling, hiking and bonfires
Remember the feeling of squeezing every last drop out of summer before life got loud again? This is that — but deeper.
Before the calendar fills up, before the school pickups and work deadlines and the blur of fall sets in, you deserve one intentional weekend to pause, breathe, and come back to yourself. Join spiritual mentor and life coach Catherine Andrews for an all-inclusive end-of-summer Tarot, journaling and self-reflection retreat nestled in the heart of Knoxville, Maryland — where the mountains meet the mighty Potomac River, and the only agenda is you.
Friday August 21- Sunday August 23
Knoxville, Maryland
All-inclusive
This is your permission slip to slow down. Over our weekend, you'll:
Wake up to sunrise in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains, visit the Potomac and wind down around evening bonfires under open skies. Share meals made from homemade, organic food that actually nourishes you. Gather in sisterhood circles for honest, open-hearted conversation.
And at the center of it all — Tarot and journaling. Whether you've never touched a deck or you read for others regularly, you'll learn how Tarot creates a powerful container for self-reflection: helping you ask better questions, hear your own inner wisdom, and get clarity on what your heart is actually calling for this season. You'll practice reading for yourself and each other — in a space that is warm, welcoming, and zero pressure.
No experience necessary. I’ll teach you all you need to know. All levels welcome. Just bring yourself, a Tarot deck, a journal, and an open heart.
Rates and accommodations:
📅 Friday, August 21 – Sunday, August 23 (We’ll start Friday afternoon around 4pm, and leave Sunday before 11am)

MEET YOUR GUIDE
Hey, I’m Catherine.
I didn't find Tarot — Tarot found me when I needed it most.
Like many of the women I work with, I went through a season of life that asked me to completely reimagine who I was and what I truly wanted. Tarot became my anchor. Not as a way to predict the future, but as a way to finally hear myself beneath all the noise.
That was 10 years ago. Since then, I've spent seven years training as a life and spiritual coach, and built a practice devoted entirely to sensitive souls: the women who feel everything deeply, who might be in the middle of a transition they can't quite name yet, or who are simply craving a space where they don't have to explain or justify how they're wired.
That's who I made this work for. That's who I made this retreat for.
In our time together, I'll guide you through Tarot workshops, journaling spreads, and real practice space so you can learn to read more clearly — not for the cards, but for yourself. Because you already have the wisdom… sometimes you just need the right container to hear it.
If you're a seeker who's been waiting for your people — I think you just found them.
Who is this retreat for?
This retreat is for women (and women-identifying souls) of all ages who are ready to slow down, turn inward, and spend a weekend in the company of people who just get it.
You might be here if you:
Are drawn to nature, quiet mornings, and the kind of peace that's hard to find in everyday life
Love journaling but want to go deeper than you can on your own
Are curious about Tarot — whether you've never touched a deck or have been reading for years
Feel things deeply and are ready to call that a gift, not a burden
Crave real connection and conversation with like-minded women
Are in a season of transition and want clarity on what comes next
Are ready to access and practice with your intuition
Simply want a weekend that is yours — reflective, nourishing, intentional
No Tarot experience necessary. All levels welcome. All ages welcome, above 18, up to 99. (Mothers/daughters, sisters, BFFs, aunts/nieces, you are welcome and we can do our best to provide a shared room for just the two of you, too!) Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned reader, you'll leave with a richer relationship with the cards — and with yourself.
Where we’ll be staying
Our retreat space is Blue Mountain, a privately owned retreat center located on 27 acres of mostly forested land, in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Maryland, across from Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. They are the Greater Washington community's first environmentally-friendly and health-conscious venue. Blue Mountain is convenient to both Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD - just about one hour driving time - yet after you arrive and settle in, you’ll feel like you have been transported to the midst of a forest. The secret is their 27 acres of mostly wooded land, which their family has landscaped and nurtured with love and organic gardening for more than 20 years.
What’s included
2 nights accommodation (shared rooms)
All meals - organic breakfast, lunch, and dinner cooked on site (vegan & vegetarian menu available and dietary restrictions accommodated)
Several workshops on Tarot and journaling, plus spreads and prompts for you to do throughout the weekend
