Signals of Safety is a six-month healing program for highly sensitive people navigating chronic illness, mysterious symptoms, burnout, adrenal and energy issues, and hormonal imbalance. It’s a supportive, science-backed, holistic container where HSPs learn the nutrition, lifestyle, and nervous-system tools that help you rebuild energy, stabilize mood, reduce symptoms, and finally feel safe and steady in your body again.

Signals of Safety is a small group (no more than 6 people) six-month healing program beginning January 21, designed specifically for the highly sensitive person who longs to feel safe in their body again—steady, energized, and vibrant with health.

Whether you’re navigating mysterious chronic symptoms, burnout, adrenal dysfunction, hormonal chaos, or the exhaustion that comes from being an HSP in a loud and demanding world, this program offers a grounded, compassionate path forward.

Across six months, you’ll receive guidance in nervous-system support, nutrition for highly sensitive bodies, lifestyle shifts that rebuild energy, and emotional + mindset tools that help you return to balance. You’ll have three live calls each month, every Wednesday at 4pm ET for 90 minutes (always recorded), plus a private off-social-media community for daily support, connection, and encouragement from others on this healing path.

Signals of Safety includes monthly themes, practical tools, gentle structure, and the kind of community that reminds you that you’re not alone—and that your body can heal with the right support.

  • Over 6 months we explore 6 themes of healing, from lifestyle, dietary, nervous system and environmental changes to navigate your health HSP. But you’ll also get community and accountability with other HSP women just like you. We’ll have group coaching calls 3x a month and a private online community for weekday sharing and questions.

  • It’s true: Nutrition plays a huge role in how your sensitivity affects you. You’ll receive nutritional guidance, recipes and approaches geared towards the HSP, as well as blood sugar management, education on protein and fiber and how to incorporate it into your diet, and meal ideas.

  • So much more goes into managing the body of a highly sensitive person than just diet. In Signals of Safety, we’ll dive into environmental approaches like resetting your circadian rhythm and blocking blue light; understanding stress, adrenals and the HPA-axis and how it may be dysfunctional; practical stress reduction tools that actually work; and what kind of targeted supplementation can ease your symptoms.

  • Learn how to gain control of your thoughts, stop ruminating and negative fantasizing, and empower your brain to become the power-house it used to be and can still be, through effective mindset and journaling techniques that help you stop being at the mercy of your hormones and your dysregulated nervous system.

  • In SoS, we also work with the energetics of health. I include microdosing mushrooms in my approach (though this is optional), feng shui, and Tarot, as well as a mind-body journaling approach called JournalSpeak. Your health, spirituality and body are all closely linked; this is often the missing piece in other healing programs.

Course outline:

  • Month 1: We start with the foundations: setting intentions. Month 1 is all about gathering the materials and supplies you’ll need for the course; meeting your small group; doing an intention setting ritual, and going slow and steady at the start so we can make health changes sustainably. I’ll also be teaching you here the hows and whys of microdosing psilocybin for your health and how to work with the mushrooms.

  • Month 2: Environmental basics. We start incorporating circadian rhythms, the light/dark cycle, minerals, small meal changes, what to eliminate from your diet and how to use nature as a healing tool.

  • Month 3: Nutrition for the HSP. Here, we discuss how to slowly start shifting your meals to include more protein, fiber, whole foods, and soluble fiber (aka The Bean Protocol!). But it’s not just WHAT we eat: it’s the how. We’ll discuss slowing down, how to activate proper digestion, and mindset/gratitude in your meals.

  • Month 4: Here, we move into more holistic approaches. I’ll teach Feng Shui for health, revealing what your home, bedroom, kitchen might be revealing about your health structures. I’ll also teach you JournalSpeak, an expressive journaling technique created by Nicole Sachs that has an incredible track record of regulating your nervous system to reduce chronic illness and chronic pain.

  • Month 5: This month is simply for integrating all of the above in your daily life, creating new structures and habits, and connecting with the community for support.

  • Month 6: We’ll continue the integration, and also talk about what’s next? How can you support yourself and your new habits as the group comes to an end?

This course is different. It has to be. Because you, as an HSP, are different, too.

We go slow in this course—much slower than you might expect or even want—because your nervous system is usually already overwhelmed and terrified. The pace isn’t a flaw; it’s the medicine. We attune to the nervous system as our North Star.

We honor the mind–body connection. Your symptoms are real, but their roots may not be purely biological—they often begin in stress, trauma, energy, or environment long before they show up in the body.

We welcome the mystical and the energetic: Tarot, microdosing, flower essences, feng shui, somatic and energy work. These aren’t gimmicks, but real pathways of support for the sensitive system.

We tailor everything—nutrition, lifestyle shifts, emotional work, spiritual practices—specifically to the HSP body, mind, and soul.

We lean on community, because you’re not meant to do this alone. Your healing accelerates when you’re witnessed.

FAQ

  • How long do I have access to the course? The weekly live calls and the community last for 6 months, but all the materials and call replays are yours forever. Lifetime access!

  • Do I have to microdose the mushrooms? No, if you’d rather not for any reason, I will direct you to a flower essence protocol instead.

  • Do I have to give up a ton or make massive changes in this course? I’m scared 😬 I won’t lie to you; if you’re suffering greatly right now with health symptoms, you should expect to have to make some lifestyle changes, particularly in stress, emotional healing, and diet. I will ask you to consider giving up alcohol, caffeine, ultra processed foods, and start seeing sunrise, getting outdoors more, and journaling. But I’ll do it in my gentle, sustainable, week-by-week style, so you can actually DO it, and incorporate it in a healthy way for the rest of your life. I’m not gonna hit you with an overwhelming wall of information and change right away. We build, little by little, to make this accessible and doable over the 6 months. It’s okay to go slow!

  • How much time should I expect to dedicate to this course? The 3x a month live calls will be 90 minutes (you can always watch on replay if you can’t attend live). But the rest of the work is about implementation, so it’s less that you will have a workbook that will take you 2 hours - it’s more about switching your lifestyle. Can you work outside for 30 minutes a day? Can you wear blue blocking glasses after sunset? Can you decide to drink your coffee AFTER breakfast - or not at all? JournalSpeak, which we’ll introduce halfway through, takes 30 minutes a day. But overall there’s really not dedicated homework outside of the class, it’s more about integrating lifestyle shifts into your existing routines and schedules.

  • When are the calls? Wednesdays at 4pmET, starting January 21 and going through July (final dates TBD). They’re all recorded for lifetime replay/access.

  • Will I need to purchase extra stuff for this course? Nothing is absolutely required, but in short: ideally, yes. I am going to recommending investing in microdosing supplements, which will be about $150-$200; flower essences, which will be about $150; blue light blocking glasses; and a few essential minerals and supplements. However, these are not mandatory for the course, so you are still welcome to join without these; your results just may not be as drastic.

About your guide

Hello! I’m Catherine Andrews. I’m a 46-year-old health, life and spiritual coach for the highly sensitive living in Virginia. I started my life coaching business six years ago, but over the years, I noticed something: Every single HSP client I took on was not only struggling with emotional and life issues, but usually chronic health conditions and mysterious illnesses as well. This caused me to start deeply researching and studying the health of HSPs, and exploring my own health, as well (I struggled with adrenal burnout, hormonal issues, hair loss, PMDD, chronic back and pelvic pain). Eventually I became certified as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner through the Nutritional Therapy Association, and will also be certified as a health coach by the NTA in 2026. I am certified as an Integral Life Coach, a Feng Shui practitioner, Reiki I/II, and have taken several trainings related to herbalism, Tarot, and energy work. I believe most HSP health conditions are rooted in a dysregulated nervous system, and lack of connection to nature and soul. We address all of this in Signals of Safety.
